We didn’t want True Detective’s fourth season to be bad. We wanted it to be engaging and cool and fun and instead it was a poorly written series of incoherencies wrapped around a poorly conceived and poorly executed final reveal that for some reason has received near universal critical acclaim. We thus feel compelled to yell about how much this television show sucked, actually, for like the fifth time in the last six weeks. Sorry!
